Terry McMillan (* 18. Oktober 1951 in Port Huron, Michigan) ist eine US-amerikanische Autorin.

Terry McMillan studierte an der University of California at Berkeley Journalismus und brachte 1987 ihr erste Buch Mama heraus. Ihr drittes veröffentlichtes Werk Waiting to Exhale wurde ein Bestseller und 1995 verfilmt.
