Das Album The Power to Believe von der Progressive-Rock-Formation King Crimson ist das bisher letzte, 2003 veröffentlichte Album der Band.

Musik

Auffallend an diesem Album ist das in vier Teile aufgeteilte Titelstück The Power to Believe, welches sich ähnlich Larks’ Tongues in Aspic wie ein roter Faden durch das Album zieht und bis auf eine elektronisch verzerrte Stimme, mit demselben Wortlaut, fast komplett instrumental ist.
Das gesamte Album ist von elektronischen Sounds, jazzig anmutenden Gitarren, fernöstlichen Klängen, typischen Arpeggio-Gitarren, E-Drums und harten Gitarrenriffs geprägt.

Ansonsten zeigt Robert Fripp mit dem zynischen Stück Happy With What You Have to Be Happy With seine Inspiration durch die Band Tool, indem er ähnliche chromatische Riffs verwendet.
