Die Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) ist eine am 10. Dezember 1988 von Zackie Achmat gegründete südafrikanische Nichtregierungsorganisation, in der fast alle Mitglieder ehrenamtlich arbeiten. Sie kämpft dafür, dass allen Aids-Kranken geholfen wird. Die wichtigsten Anliegen von TAC sind die intensive Aufklärungsarbeit und der Kampf um bezahlbare Medikamente für HIV-positive Menschen in Südafrika.
Aktuell zählt TAC 72 Festangestellte sowie 16.000 Freiwillige, die sich in 267 lokalen Gruppen organisieren.
TAC ist Partner von Brot für die Welt und wird von Ashoka unterstützt.
Am 30. August 2006 bezeichnete die New York Times TAC als „the world’s most effective AIDS group“.
