Baron Denman, of Dovedale in the County of Derby, ist ein erblicher britischer Adelstitel, welcher zur Peerage of the United Kingdom gehört. Er wird von der Familie Denman geführt.

Verleihung

Der Titel wurde im Jahre 1834 für Thomas Denman, geschaffen. Dieser war ein bedeutender Jurist seiner Zeit und Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales gewesen.

Weiterer Titel

Der Baron führt weiter den Titel eines Baronets, of Staffield in the County Cumberland. Diese Würde wurde 1945 an den jüngeren Bruder des dritten Barons verliehen, der 35 Jahre lang Mitglied des House of Commins gewesen war. Dessen Sohn erbte 1971 die Baronie. Der Titel gehört zur Baronetcy of the United Kingdom.
