Ulster Special Constabulary

Die Ulster Special Constabulary (USC) waren eine paramilitärische Hilfstruppe in Nordirland, die von den Briten 1920 gegründet wurde. Diese Hilfstruppe der nordirischen Polizei Royal Ulster Constabulary rekrutierte sich fast ausschließlich aus Protestanten des Oranierordens.

Die USC war in drei Abteilungen aufgeteilt, die A-, B- und C-Specials. Nach der Boundary Commission wurden die A- und C-Specials im Jahr 1926 aufgelöst. Die B-Specials existierten noch weiter bis zum 30. April 1970, als auch diese Einheit endgültig aufgelöst wurde.
