Die Union Bridge, auch Chain Bridge genannt, überspannt den Fluss Tweed zwischen Horncliffe, Northumberland in England und Fishwick, Scottish Borders in Schottland. Gebaut wurde sie von dem Ingenieur Captain Samuel Brown. Zum Zeitpunkt ihrer Eröffnung im Jahre 1820 war sie die längste Schmiedeeisen-Hängebrücke der Welt, mit einer maximalen Spannweite von 129 Metern (423 Fuß), und die erste Brücke für Fahrzeuge in Großbritannien. Obwohl die Konstruktion der Menai Suspension Bridge vorher begann, wurde die Union Bridge vorher fertiggestellt. Heute ist die Brücke die älteste Hängebrücke, die noch immer für den Straßenverkehr genutzt wird.
