Der Codex Vergilius Augusteus ist eine spätantike Prachthandschrift von Werken des römischen Dichters Vergil, wohl aus dem 4. Jahrhundert. Sie ist in der Schrift Capitalis quadrata geschrieben und ist eines der wenigen Beispiele dafür, dass die römische Spätantike Capitalis quadrata nicht nur in Inschriften verwendet hat. Die Seiten des Vergilius Augusteus leiten gepflegte Zierinitialen ein.

Die erhaltenen Fragmente der Handschrift – Georgica und vier Verse der Aeneis – befinden sich in der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin und in der Vatikanischen Bibliothek. Für die Textüberlieferung der Werke Vergils ist der Vergilius Augusteus nicht von Bedeutung.

Es gibt noch zwei andere berühmte Vergilhandschriften: Vergilius Vaticanus und Vergilius Romanus. Sie sind in einer anderen Schrift, der Capitalis rustica, geschrieben.
