Vevay ist ein Ort in Indiana und zugleich auch Hauptort des Switzerland County. Die Einwohnerzahl beträgt 1.735.

Main Street

Vevay wurde 1814 von einem schweizerischen Einwanderer an den Ufern des Ohio Rivers gegründet. Der Weinbauer benannte die neue Ortschaft nach seinem Heimatort in der Schweiz, der Stadt Vevey.

Jährlich wird in ein Weinfestival abgehalten, in welchem sich das Interesse vor allem um den lokalen Wein aus Switzerland County dreht.
