Østerbro [ˈøsdərˌbroʔ] („Ostbrücke“) ist ein Stadtteil der dänischen Hauptstadt Kopenhagen. Es ist gleichzeitig mit rund 82.000 Einwohnern der bevölkerungsreichste Stadtteil Dänemarks.

Østerbro ist ein relativ wohlhabender Stadtteil. Es hat eine alte und vornehme Geschichte und beheimatet viele wichtige Baudenkmäler.

Der Stadtteil hat seinen Namen von einer Brücke (dän. bro) die zum Stadttor Østerport („Osttor“) führte, das im Mittelalter am Ende der Østergade („Oststraße“) lag. 1647 und 1708 wurde das Osttor im Rahmen der Stadterweiterung verlagert.

In Østerbro befinden sich zwei der fünfzehn Stadtbezirke Kopenhagens:

  • Indre Østerbro 46.326 Ew.
  • Ydre Østerbro 35.968 Ew.
