AIMCO (Apartment Investment and Management Company) ist ein US-amerikanisches Unternehmen mit Firmensitz in Denver, Colorado. Das Unternehmen ist im Aktienindex S&P 500 gelistet.

Das Unternehmen The Considine Company, Inc. wurde 1975 von Terry Considine gegründet. 1987 übernahm das Unternehmen 75 Prozent an dem US-amerikanischen Unternehmen McDermott, Stein und Ira aus Denver. AMICO ist seit 1994 als Real Estate Investment Trust strukturiert. 1994 ging das Unternehmen an die Börse.

AIMCO gehört zu den größten Eigentümern und Betreibern von Apartmentanlagen in den Vereinigten Staaten mit rund 1.475 Anlagen von rund 260.000 Einheiten in 47 Bundesstaaten, im District von Columbia und Puerto Rico. Gegen Spekulation und Zwangsräumung protestiert in den USA die Organisation NAHT.

Die Deutsche Bank ist am Unternehmen mit einem Anteil von über 6 % beteiligt.
