Es wurde geschrieben von Franke Previte und John DeNicola, die auch den Eric-Carmen-Klassiker Hungry Eyes schrieben. Für die Produktion zeichnete Michael Lloyd verantwortlich. Durch den großen Erfolg des Filmes Dirty Dancing erreichte das Lied für eine Woche Platz 1 der Billboard Hot 100 Charts 1987.
