Der Aorere River ist ein Fluss in der Region Tasman auf der Südinsel Neuseelands.

Die Quelle befindet sich an der Nordflanke der Dommet Range der Tasman Mountains im Kahurangi National Park. Der Fluss fließt für 40 km in nördliche und nordöstliche Richtung und mündet bei Collingwood in die Golden Bay.

Die wichtigsten der zahlreichen in den Fluss mündenden Bäche und Nebenflüsse sind Spey, Boulder und Slate River, die einzigen Siedlungen am Fluss sind neben Collingwood Bainham, Rockville und Aoere.
