Artec

artec - Forschungszentrum Nachhaltigkeit (ehemals Forschungszentrum Arbeit und Technik) ist eine Zentrale Wissenschaftliche Einrichtung der Universität Bremen.

Es wurde 1989 zunächst als Forschungszentrum Arbeit und Technik (artec) gegründet. Das Zentrum ist ein Zusammenschluss von Professoren aus unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen. Zweck ist die disziplinübergreifende Forschung. Im Rahmen von Forschung und Lehre wird Nachhaltigkeit unter sozialen, ökonomischen und ökologischen Perspektiven untersucht. Eine weitere Aufgabe ist die wissenschaftliche Beratungstätigkeit, welche darauf ausgerichtet ist, nachhaltige Entwicklungen in relevanten Handlungsfeldern zu unterstützen.
