Basic and Applied Ecology ist eine Fachzeitschrift für Ökologie. Sie wird herausgegeben von der Gesellschaft für Ökologie und erscheint in Englischer Sprache bei Elsevier. Der ISI Impact Factor betrug 2009 2.422[1]
Inhalt
Basic and Applied Ecology veröffentlicht Schwerpunktmäßig sogenannte "minireviews" und Fachartikel aus allen Bereichen der grundlegenden und angewandten Ökologie. Die Zeitschrift veröffentlicht Arbeiten von Pflanzen- und Tierökologen, Agrarwissenschaftlern, Forstökologen, Tropenökologische Themen, limnologisch- bodenkundliche und geoökologische Arbeiten. Daneben erscheinen arbeiten von Landschaftsökologen und Naturschutzbiologen. Für Mitglieder der GfÖ ist die Zeitschrift im Mitgliedsbeitrag enthalten.
