Fred Bodsworth

Charles Frederick (Fred) Bodsworth (* 11. Oktober 1918 in Port Burwell, Ontario) ist ein kanadischer Schriftsteller, Journalist und Amateurnaturforscher.

Bodsworth arbeitete als Journalist für die Journale "The St. Thomas Times-Journal", "The Toronto Star" und "Maclean's".

Er erhielt 2002 den Matt-Cohen-Preis für seine Bücher.

Deutsch übersetzt als "Der große Flug" (BRD-Ausgabe) und "Der letzte Eskimobrachvogel" (DDR-Ausgabe). Handelt von dem fast ausgestorbenen Eskimobrachvogel.
