1967 gingen noch drei Verbrennungsgeneratoren mit je 2,8 MW ans Netz.
Einfluss auf die Umwelt
Die Eigentümerfirma PPL begann nach eigenen Aussagen 2005 mit dem Einbau von Filtern, die, so PPL, jährlich 100.000 t Schwefel entfernen könnten. Der Einbau sollte nach PPL 2009 abgeschlossen sein.
In einer Studie über die Luftqualität von USA Today wurde das Kraftwerk als eines von mehreren in der Region als mögliche Quelle von Schadstoffen genannt.
Emissionen
Neben der Abwärme, die in den Susquehanna River eingeleitet wird, wird auch Schwefeldioxid ausgestoßen. So werden für jede Megawattstunde an elektrischer Energie 9,29 kg Schwefeldioxid emittiert.
