Carlingwark Loch ist ein Süßwassersee in den schottischen Lowlands. Er liegt unmittelbar südlich des Ortes Castle Douglas in der Council Area Dumfries and Galloway und ist mit dem Auto über die A75 leicht zu erreichen.

Carlingwark Loch ist etwa 1 km lang und 300 m breit. Im See wurden Überreste einer menschlichen Ansiedlung aus der Eisenzeit entdeckt. Bekannt ist Carlingwark Loch aber vor allem für seinen reichhaltigen Bestand an zum Teil seltenen Wildvögeln. Interessierte können das Vogelleben am See von einem 2008 eigens eingerichteten Vogelbeobachtungsposten aus betrachten. Carlingwark Loch wurde wegen seiner Artenvielfalt und der prähistorischen Funde zur Site of Special Scientific Interest erklärt.
