Darren Chiacchia ist ein US-amerikanischer Reiter aus Ocala im US-Bundesstaat Florida.

Leben

2004 gewann er bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen mit der US-amerikanischen Olympiamannschaft die Bronzemedaille. 2008 stürzte er bei einem Wettbewerb von seinem Pferd und erlitt schwere Verletzungen. 2010 geriet er in die mediale Berichterstattung aufgrund eines Verfahrens wegen Ansteckung eines mehrfachen Sexualpartners mit dem HI-Virus. Die beiden hatten sich auf einem Kontaktportal mit schwuler Zielgruppe kennengelernt.[1]
