China-EU School of Law

Die China-EU School of Law (CESL) an der China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Peking ist ein gemeinsames Projekt der chinesischen Regierung und der Europäischen Union und wird unter Federführung der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Hamburg durch ein Konsortium von 13 europäischen und 4 chinesischen Universitäten und Bildungseinrichtungen getragen. Die Aufgabe der China-EU School of Law ist es, die chinesische Regierung dabei zu unterstützen, eine auf Rechtsstaatlichkeit basierende Gesellschaft zu schaffen.[1]

Für internationale Studierende bietet die Rechtshochschule einen englischsprachigen Master of European and International Law (MEIL) sowie ein englischsprachiges Auslandssemester zum chinesischen Recht (CLTE) an. Darüber hinaus gehört zur Schule ein Fortbildungsprogramm für chinesische Richter, Staatsanwälte und Rechtsanwälte sowie ein chinesisch-europäisches Forschungsprogramm.[2]
