David ben Samuel ha-Levi

David ben Samuel ha-Levi (* um 1586; † 1667 in Lemberg), oft mit dem Akronym Tas, nach seinem Werk Ture Sahaw, bezeichnet, war ein polnischer jüdischer Gelehrter und Dezisor des 17. Jahrhunderts.

Er war in Krakau, Posen, in Ostrog, wo er eine Jeschiwa gründete, und in Lemberg tätig. Sein bekanntestes Werk Ture Sahaw („Schilde von Gold“), ein Kommentar zum Schulchan Aruch, erschien zeitgleich mit dem Werk Sifte ha-Kohen seines wesentlich jüngeren Widersachers Sabbatai ben Meïr ha-Kohen im Jahr 1646.
