Doe Network

Das Doe Network (Doe Netzwerk), ist eine US-amerikanische Website und Organisation, die hauptsächlich von Mitarbeitern der nationalen Polizeibehörden, der Gerichtsmedizin und der Justiz unterhalten und betrieben wird. Hierbei liegt das Hauptinteresse der Site in der Suche nach langzeitig vermissten Personen sowie der Aufklärung von unidentifizierten Leichen die mindestens neun Jahre zurückliegen.

Für rezentere Verbrechensfälle die unter neun Jahren liegen, wurde vom Doe Network 2005 das Schwesterprojekt The North American Missing Persons Network (NAMPN) ins Leben gerufen. Schwerpunktmässig werden hier sowohl Vermisstenfälle von Kindern wie auch Erwachsenen der Vereinigten Staaten und Kanada behandelt.[1]
