FC Sarrebourg

FC Sarrebourg (Football Club de Sarrebourg) ist ein französischer Fußballverein aus der lothringischen Stadt Sarrebourg (dt. Saarburg).

Geschichte

Der FC Sarrebourg wurde 1963 gegründet. Nur sechs Jahre später nahmen sie bereits am Spielbetrieb teil. Bis 1994 spielten sie in der Division d'Honneur. Erst 1994 gelang ihnen der Aufstieg, als sie in die Division 3 aufsteigen konnten. In der Drittklassigkeit hielt es sie nur drei Jahre, da sie 1997 aufgrund Umstrukturierungen im Ligasystem in die CFA 2 kamen. Seit 2005 spielen sie in der Division d'Honneur.
