Fajã de Baixo ist eine Freguesia im Kreis/Regierungsbezirk (Concelho) Ponta Delgada, der Inselhauptstadt, auf der portugiesischen Azoren-Insel São Miguel mit 4553 Einwohnern (2001) auf 4,05 km²; die Einwohnerdichte beträgt 1124,2/km².

Fajã de Baixo (port. Fajã = Lagebezeichnung: flaches Gebiet, in Meeresnähe, an Lava-Steilküsten; Baixo = Niederung, Unter-, tief) liegt unwesentlich über Meereshöhe etwa einen Kilometer nordöstlich der Stadtgrenze von Ponta Delgada an der Straße EN4-1A nach Fenais da Luz an der Inselnordseite. Unmittelbar nordwestlich benachbart ist die Schwestergemeinde Fajã de Cima.

Wesentlicher Erwerbszweig ist die Landwirtschaft.

Berühmtester Sohn des Ortes ist der ehemalige (2005–2011) portugiesische Parlamentspräsident Jaime Gama.
