Scott Forstall ist Senior Vice President bei Apple Inc. und verantwortlich für das Betriebssystem iOS.

Als Mitarbeiter der Firma NeXT, die 1997 von Apple aufgekauft wurde, kam der Magister der Computerwissenschaften zu Apple.[1] Er gilt als einer der Haupt-Entwickler von Mac OS X sowie der Aqua Benutzeroberfläche.[2]

Seit 2007 leitet er die Entwicklung von iOS und wurde im Juni 2008 zum Senior Vice President ernannt.[3]
