Scheich Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum (arabisch حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم, auch bekannt als Fazza'a; der Name unter dem er seine Gedichte veröffentlicht, * 14. November 1982) ist der Erbprinz von Dubai und der zweitälteste Sohn von Scheich Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Ausbildung
Sheich Hamdan begann seine schulische Ausbildung in der Rashid School For Boys. Später ging er nach Großbritannien um ein Studium zu beginnen. Nach Absolvierung der königlichen Militärakademie von Sandhurst besuchte er die London School of Economics.
Rollen und Positionen
Am 1. Februar 2008 wurde er von Scheich Mohammed zum Erbprinzen von Dubai ernannt. Als Erbprinz wiederum, berief er den Ökonom John Calverley sowie den Hedge Fond-Magnat James T. Naeem von HN Capital LLP zu seinen persönlichen Beratern. Er ist zudem der Vorsitzende des Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders sowie des Dubai Sportrats.
