Igil ist ein 2-saitiges Streichinstrument der tuwinischen Volksmusik. Es wird auch als Tuwanische Geige oder Pferdevioline bezeichnet.

Die zwei Saiten des Igils bestehen aus Pferdehaar. Der Griff wird durch eine Pferdefigur verziert. Das Instrument wurde traditionell von den tuwinischen Nomaden gespielt und von ihnen wegen seines Klangs mit einem Pferd gleichgesetzt. In der tuwanischen Kultur wurde das Igil von Schamanen verwendet. Es wird heute häufig zur Begleitung des Khoomei genannten Obertongesangs verwendet.
