Kedarnath ist ein Ort im indischen Bundesstaat Uttarakhand.

Kedarnath wurde nach dem hinduistischen legendären König Kedar benannt, der in der hinduistischen Epoche Satya Yuga lebte. Der Ort ist nur über einen Helikopterdienst oder einen 14 km langen aufsteigenden Fußweg erreichbar. In Kedarnath befindet sich der Kedarnath-Tempel, der zu den vier hinduistischen Klöstern des Pilgerweges Chota Char Dham gehört. Oberhalb von Kedarnath befindet sich ein für Hinduisten heiliger See. [1]
