Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (* 29. Januar 1993) ist ein Model, eine Bloggerin und Musikerin aus Harajuku, einem Stadtteil von Tokyo.

Karriere

Kyary startete als Fashion-Bloggerin, und später begann ihre Karriere als professionelles Model für Harajuku Modezeitschriften wie Kera! und Zipper. Nachdem sie ein Maß an Berühmtheit erreichte, fing sie an sich als Unternehmerin einer Linie von falschen Wimpern namens "Harajuku Doll Eyelashes by Eyemazing x Kyary" zu etablieren und nahm an Fashionshows teil.

Im April 2011 leitete sie die Wohltätigskeitfeier "One Snap For Love" mit Yasumasa Yonehara und der japanischen Marke 6%DOKIDOKI für die Opfer des Tōhoku-Erdbebens 2011.

Im Juli 2011 begann ihre Musikkarriere, als sie ihre erste Single "PONPONPON" am 20. Juli 2011 veröffentlichte. Die Single wurde von Yasutaka Nakata produziert und ihr Debüt-Mini-Album Moshi Moshi Harajuku wurde am 17. August 2011 veröffentlicht.

Die zweite Single Jelly wurde international bei iTunes am 03. August 2011 veröffentlicht.

Eine Woche nach dem Release ihres Debüt-Mini-Albums brachte sie eine Autobiographie namens Oh! My God!! Harajuku Girl über ihren Aufstieg zum Ruhm raus.
