Die Matheran Hill Railway ist eine Schmalspurbahn der Spurweite 610 mm (2 Fuß) im indischen Bundesstaat Maharashtra, die von Neral nach Matheran führt. Sie wird von der indischen Staatsbahn, Abteilung Central Railway (CR) betrieben. Wie andere indische Schmalspurbahnen wird die Matheran Hill Railway auch Toy Train genannt.

Beschreibung

Die Bahnstrecke wurde zwischen 1901 und 1907 von der britischen Kolonialregierung gebaut. Sie überwindet auf etwa 20 km Länge einen Höhenunterschied von etwa 700 m und braucht hierfür planmäßig knapp 2 Stunden.

Unterwegs hält der Zug an den Bahnhöfen Jammu Patti, Water Pipe und Aman Lodge.
