Der Mohaka River ist ein Fluss im Norden der Region Hawke's Bay im Osten der Nordinsel Neuseelands. Er entspringt der Ahimanawa Range und fließt 70 km in ost-südöstlicher Richtung, um dann nahe der Siedlung Mohaka, 20 km südwestlich von Wairoa in die Hawke Bay zu münden.

Neuseelands höchste Eisenbahnbrücke, das Mohaka Viaduct, kreuzt den Fluss nahe der kleinen Siedlung Raupunga.
