Hardy Hard, früher Hardsequencer (* 10. September 1974 in Dresden - bürgerlicher Name: Kay Lippert) ist ein deutscher Musiker und DJ. Er wuchs im Freitaler Stadtteil Zauckerode auf, wo er auch zur Schule ging. Dort begann er mit seinem Amiga an ersten Musikstücken zu arbeiten. Seine Lehre als Einzelhandelskaufmann im damaligen provisorischen Allkauf-Zelt brach er zugunsten seiner Musikkarriere ab.

Zunächst arbeitet er in den 1990ern unter seinem ersten Pseudonym Hardsequencer und spielte vorwiegend Liveacts. Ende der 90er benannte er sich in Hardy Hard um. Er ist neben WestBam einer der populärsten DJs des Plattenlabels „Electric Kingdom“. Er legt u. a. regelmäßig bei Mayday und Love Parade sowie bei den Electric Kingdom Tourneen auf. Ein großer Erfolg ist seine 12" Silver Surfer aus dem Jahr 1998. Das Original "Beams Of Light" wurde 1989 von Tor Bernhard Gausen (Walkman) komponiert. Auf dem Höhepunkt der Kommerzialisierung von Techno Mitte der 90er Jahre, wurde ihm bei einem Einbruch sein komplettes Equipment gestohlen, nachdem seine Wohnung kurz zuvor ausführlich in einem Bericht des Senders VIVA vorgestellt worden war. Im Jahr 2000 begann er eine Zusammenarbeit mit Afrika Bambaataa. Die beiden legten auf der Electric Kingdom Party nach der Love Parade gemeinsam auf. Ab 2001 folgen gemeinsame Releases unter dem Namen Sirius B.

Neben seinen Produktionen bei Low Spirit Recordings veröffentlicht er auch für das Electric Kingdom-Label unter dem Pseudonym Chemical Reaction Food.
