Negros Occidental (zu deutsch: West-Negros) ist eine Provinz der Philippinen und umfasst den Norden und Westen der Insel Negros. Die Provinz ist 375 km lang, von südwest nach nordost verlaufend. Sie wird begrenzt durch die Visayas-See im Norden, Golf von Panay im Westen, Tanon-Straße und der Provinz Negros Oriental im Osten und der Sulu See im Süden. Auf dem Gebiet der Provinz liegen insgesamt 13 urbane Städte und 17 größere Gemeinden. 80% Prozent allen Landes ist kultiviert.

Den Norden und Westen der Provinz bilden große ausgedehnte Ebenen, die größten Teils Landwirtschaftlich genutzt werden. Ein vulkanischer Gebirgszug liegt im Osten der Provinz und bildet die Grenze zu der Provinz Negros Oriental, in dem der Mandalagan, der Kanlaon und der Silay liegt. Der höchste Berg der Provinz ist der Vulkan Kanlaon, der eine Höhe von 2465 Meter erreicht und gleichzeitig der höchste Berg in den Visayas ist.

Die Provinz gehört zum Bezirk Western Visayas. Hauptstadt ist Bacolod City. Die Einwohnerzahl beträgt 2.370.269 und die Fläche 7.802,5 km².
