Redcar

Redcar ist ein Editor zur Softwareentwicklung. Er wurde von TextMate inspiriert und kann Textmate-Bundles und -Themes verwenden. Anders als TextMate ist er auch auf anderen Betriebssystemen lauffähig und steht mit der GNU GPL unter einer Open Source-Lizenz. Geschrieben wurde der Editor in JRuby von Daniel Lucraft. Die erste Ankündigung erschien am 9. November 2007, aktuell ist zur Zeit die Version 0.10, die vom Entwickler allerdings immer noch als Alpha bezeichnet wird.
