Thomas West, 3. Baron De La Warr (* 9. Juli 1577; † 7. Juni 1618) war der zweite Gouverneur der Colony of Virginia sowie Namensgeber für den US-Bundesstaat Delaware, den Delaware River und den Indianerstamm Delaware (eigentlich Lenni Lenape).
De La Warr wurde 1609 zum Gouverneur ernannt und erreichte 1610 Virginia. Dort traf er auf entmutigte Siedler, die sich gerade im Ersten Englischen Powhatankrieg befanden und zurück nach England wollten. Er konnte sie dazu bewegen, in Virginia zu bleiben, und schickte Sir Samuel Argall zurück nach England, um Unterstützung sowie benötigte Waren und Güter nach Virginia zu bringen. De La Warr kehrte nach England zurück und trat dort stets für den Erhalt der Kolonie ein. Er starb 1618 während seiner zweiten Reise nach Virginia.
