Mit Klon (englisch clone, vom altgriech. κλών, klon für Zweig, Schößling) wird bezeichnet:

  • die durch ungeschlechtliche Vermehrung entstandene Nachkommenschaft, siehe Klonen und Genet
  • eine Zellpopulation mit identischen Kopien einer DNA, siehe Klonierung
  • Computerprogramme, die einem anderen Programm nachgebildet sind oder ihm auch nur in Aussehen oder Funktion ähneln
  • im Usenet ein Synonym für Sockenpuppe
