(Elizabeth) Kay Andrews, Baroness Andrews OBE (* 16. Mai 1943) ist eine britische Politikerin der Labour Party.
Karriere
Andrews arbeitete von 1970 bis 1985 in der Parlamentsverwaltung. Danach wurde sie von 1985 bis 1992 politische Referentin des damaligen Oppositionsführers Neil Kinnock. Bis 2002 hatte sie eine leitende Position im Erziehungsministerium inne.
Andrews wurde 1998 in den Order of the British Empire aufgenommen. Im Jahre 2000 wurde sie als Baroness Andrews of Southover aus Southover im County of East Sussex zum Life Peer ernannt. Im House of Lords war sie von Mai 2002 bis Mai 2005 parlamentarische Geschäftsführerin (Government Whip) und Regierungssprecherin für Erziehung, Bildung, Gesundheit, Arbeit und Rentenfragen. Danach war sie Parlamentarische Unterstaatssekretärin des Department for Communities and Local Government.
Familie
Sie war von 1970 bis 1992 mit Professor Roy MacLeod verheiratet, die Ehe wurde geschieden.
