Euroclio

EUROCLIO, die europäische ständige Konferenz von Geschichtslehrerverbänden (European Standing Conference of History Teachers' Associations), ist ein Zusammenschluss von 63 Verbänden aus 46 Ländern (nicht alle aus Europa) und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die europäische historische Bildung zu verbessern und damit einen Beitrag zur Festigung der Demokratie in Europa zu leisten. Sie wurde 1993 gegründet.

Sie arbeitet mit dem Europarat, der Europäischen Union, der OSZE, der UNESCO und mit nationalen und regionalen Regierungen und anderen auf historische Bildung hin ausgerichteten Vereinigungen zusammen, so mit der Anne Frank Foundation der Niederlande, der Körber-Stiftung und dem Georg-Eckert-Institut.
