Die Akita-Shinkansen (jap. 秋田新幹線) ist eine als Mini-Shinkansen-System ausgebaute japanische Hochgeschwindigkeitsbahnlinie zwischen Akita und Morioka der Bahngesellschaft JR East. Auch die Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge auf dieser Linie werden als Akita-Shinkansen bezeichnet.
