Fabián Larry Estoyanoff Poggio (* 27. September 1982 in Montevideo) ist ein uruguayischer Fußballspieler. Der rechte Mittelfeldspieler steht derzeit bei Valencia CF unter Vertrag, ist jedoch an Peñarol Montevideo verliehen.

Karriere

Estoyanoff ist sowohl italienischer als auch bulgarischer Abstammung. Sein Großvater Dimitar Stoyanov wanderte während des Balkan-Krieges (1912 - 1913) nach Argentinien aus. In Uruguay spielte Estoyanoff zwei Saisonen für CA Fénix und eine Saison für Peñarol Montevideo. Im Juli 2005 wechselte Estoyanoff nach Spanien. Bei Valencia CF unterschrieb er einen Drei-Jahresvertrag und wurde zu Saisonbeginn als offizieller Spieler präsentiert, passte jedoch nicht in das System von Trainer Quique Flores und wurde somit an den Erstligisten Cádiz CF verliehen. Dort wurde er zum Stammspieler und erzielte in 28 Partien ein Tor.

  • U20-Vizeweltmeister 1997 mit Uruguay in Malaysia

Nationalteam

Estoyanoff hat bisher 26 Spiele für das uruguayische Nationalteam bestritten (Stand: 16. November 2005). Sein Debüt absolvierte er am 25. Juli 2001 beim Copa America gegen Mexiko (1:2). Sein erstes Tor erzielte er am 4. Februar 2003 beim Carlsberg Cup gegen Iran.
