Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP) ist in Transportprotokoll, welches Fibre Channel -Pakete kapselt um sie über standardmäßige TCP/IP-Netzwerke zu transportieren. Es wird in RFC 3821 definiert. Damit kann man zum Beispiel die vorhandene Ethernet-Infrastruktur zur Übermittlung der Daten verwenden.
