First Sea Lord

Erster Seelord (englisch First Sea Lord) ist die ranghöchste Dienststellung der Royal Navy (Großbritannien und Nordirland). Der Erste Seelord ist heute gleichzeitig auch Chef des Admiralstabs der Marine (Chief of Naval Staff). Die Abkürzung lautet 1SL/CNS.

Der Erste Seelord, ein Admiral, ist nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Ersten Lord der Admiralität, der ein Politiker und vergleichbar einem Marineminister ist. Die Dienststellung Erster Seelord ist aus dem First Naval Lord hervorgegangen (von 1828 bis 1904).
