Gjáin (Isländisch: „die Schlucht“) ist ein Tal mit zahlreichen Wasserfällen im Süden Islands. In der Nähe befindet sich der historische Hof Stöng. Am Ende der Schlucht befindet sich der Wasserfall Gjárfoss.

Auf dem Weg von Stöng zur Schlucht ist ab und zu ein Blick auf den Vulkans Hekla möglich.

Eine 5 bis 6 Stunden dauernde Wanderung führt zum Háifoss, dem zweithöchsten Wasserfall Islands.
