Die Alfred Music Publishing GmbH ist ein Musikverlag, der Musiknoten und Lehrbücher für Gesang/Chor und alle Instrumente (Blas-, Schlag-, Streich-, Tasten-, Zupf- und Harmonikainstrumente) in deutscher und englischer Sprache liefert. Die deutsche Niederlassung des im Bereich "Educational Music" tätigen amerikanischen Musikverlagsunternehmens Alfred Publishing Co. Inc. hat ihren Sitz in Köln. Gegründet wurde Alfred Publishing von Alfred Piantodosi im Jahre 1922 in New York. 1928 übernahm der Violinist Sam Manus den Musikverlag, dessen Nachfahren das Familienunternehmen noch heute in der dritten Generation fortführen. 1975 verlagerte Sams Sohn Morton Manus den Unternehmenssitz von New York nach Los Angeles und expandierte auch international mit der Gründung weiterer Niederlassungen in London (England), Sydney (Australien), Köln (Deutschland) und Singapur. Heute leiten Morton Manus' Söhne Ron und Steven Manus die Verlagsgeschäfte. Zum deutschen Verlagsprogramm gehört neben zahlreichen Musikbüchern, Lehrbüchern, Songbooks, Play-alongs, Musiknoten, DVDs und Software des Alfredverlags auch seit Oktober 2000 der Katalog des KDM-Verlags, die Auslieferung des DOVER-Klassik-Katalogs sowie seit 2005 der ehemalige Warner-Print-Katalog.
