Gungnir (altnordisch: Der Schwankende) ist der Name des Speeres von Odin, dem höchsten Gott der germanischen und nordischen Mythologie. Mit diesem Speer brachte er den ersten Krieg in die Welten (Asgard, Midgard und Utgard), als er ihn ins Heer der Wanen warf.

Gungnir wurde von den Söhnen Ivaldis hergestellt und war ein Geschenk dieser Zwerge an Odin, dessen Überbringer Loki war. Es heißt, der Speer verfehlt sein Ziel nie und kehrt immer zu seinem Besitzer zurück (vgl. Mjölnir).
