La Goulette (italienisch: La Goletta, arabisch ‏حلق الوادي‎, DMG Ḥalq al-Wādī) ist eine Stadt in Tunesien, die einen Teil der Hafenanlagen von Tunis umfasst. La Goulette ist 10 km von der Hauptstadt Tunis entfernt und mit ihr über einen Damm durch die Lagune von Tunis verbunden. Die Stadt wurde nach der Besetzung Tunesiens durch die Franzosen 1881 gegründet. Bis zur Unabhängigkeit des Landes 1956 lebten hier vorwiegend Europäer (vor allem Italiener). Die Stadt hat 86.559 Einwohner (2004).

  • Der alte Fischereihafen ist nur noch der Hafen von Erholungssuchenden und der Hafen für die Touristenschiffe, während der Handelshafen von La Goulette, der Hafen von Tunis und insbesondere jener von Rades die Schiffe des Güterverkehrs übernommen haben.
