Desiree Heslop (* 27. November 1961) ist eine britische Sängerin, die unter dem Künstlernamen Princess bekannt wurde. Von 1991 bis 2003 lebte sie in den USA, kehrte aber 2003 zurück nach England.

Ihre Musikkarriere begann Desiree in den 1970er Jahren bei der Band Osibisa. Außerdem arbeitete sie mit Mai Tai, Evelyn Thomas und Precious Wilson.

1985 kam es zur Zusammenarbeit mit dem britischen Produzententeam Stock Aitken Waterman. Unter dem Namen Princess erschien die Single "Say I'm Your Number One", welche sich über 1 Million Mal weltweit verkaufte. 1986 erschien ein Album mit dem Titel "Princess", auf dem sich auch die weiteren Singles "After The Love Has Gone", "I'll Keep On Loving You", "Tell Me Tomorrow" und "In The Heat Of A Passionate Moment" befanden. Keine dieser Singles konnte den Erfolg von "Say I'm Your Number One" wiederholen und Princess wechselte die Produzenten.

1987 erschien ihr zweites Album "All For Love", welches unter anderem von Richard Burgess produziert wurde. Ihre letzte Hitnotierung war Mitte 1987 die Single "Red Hot".
