Bis zur Umbenennung in Home United 1997 war der Verein unter dem Namen Police FC bekannt. Er zählt zu den Gründungsmitgliedern der S.League. Seine Heimspiele trägt der Verein im Bishan-Stadion aus. Die Saison 2008 beendete der Verein auf dem dritten Platz. Der größte internationale Erfolg war das Erreichen des Halbfinals im AFC Cup 2004.[1]
