Indian Wells ist eine Stadt im Riverside County im US-Bundesstaat Kalifornien mit 3816 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 34,7 km². Sie liegt im Coachella Valley südlich des Joshua-Tree-Nationalparks an der Grenze zu Palm Desert. In der Nähe liegt auch der Salton Sea. In Indian Wells leben anteilig die meisten Millionäre der USA. Jährlich findet dort auch das Tennisturnier Indian Wells Masters statt, welches mit rund 4,5 Mio. Dollar (2009) sehr gut dotiert ist und auch annähernd so gut besetzt ist wie ein Grand-Slam Turnier.
