Das Internationale Paralympische Komitee (IPC) ist ein Zusammenschluss von internationalen Behindertensport-Verbänden und nationalen Organisationen in deren Zentrum die Paralympischen Spiele stehen. Es wurde am 22. September 1989 in Düsseldorf gegründet und hat seinen offiziellen Sitz in Bonn. Zur Zeit sind 162 Nationale Paralympische Komitees sowie vier internationale Behindertensport-Verbände Mitglied im IPC.
Präsident des Komitees war bis 2001 der Kanadier Dr. Robert Steadward. Ihm folgte Sir Phil Craven als Präsident, ehemaliger Paralympics-Teilnehmer und Präsident der Internationalen Rollstuhlbasketball Federation. Zwischen dem IPC und dem IOC besteht ein enger Kontakt.
