Karmah ist eine Popband bestehend aus der italienischen Sängerin Elisa Bava und dem Rapper July B. (bürgerlich Juliano Bozzano). Produziert wird das Duo von Gabry Ponte.

Ihr bisher größter Erfolg gelang ihnen mit der Single Just Be Good To Me. Die Single ist in der Technik des Bastard-Pop produziert. Sie kombiniert die Melodie des S.O.S. Band-Hits Just Be Good To Me aus dem Jahr 1984 mit der Bassline des Police-Stücks Every Breath You Take von 1983. Die Rap-Parts stammten vom italienischen Musiker, Produzenten und Sänger Gianfranco Randone, besser bekannt als Jeffrey Jey (Sänger von Eiffel 65 / Bloom 06). Ursprünglich wurde die Single bereits 1998 veröffentlicht, blieb allerdings ohne nennenswerte Resonanz. Ein Moderator des MDR-Popsenders Jump entdeckte sieben Jahre später die Single wieder. Andere Musiksender reagierten darauf und die Single schaffte acht Jahre nach ihrer Erstveröffentlichung in den deutschen und österreichischen Charts den Sprung in die Top Ten. Da Gianfranco Randone keine Zeit für das Projekt Karmah hatte, wurde der holländische Rapper Jay Delano als Playbackersatz für öffentliche Auftritte engagiert.

Ende Juli 2006 erschien die zweite Single Tom’s Diner (gecovert von DNA und Suzanne Vega). Der Rap-Gesang stammt hier von July B, so wie alle anderen Rap-Parts auf dem Album „Be Good To Me“.
